A few things about me.....
I’m a certified Spiritual Director with the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction, currently completing my thesis in the Masters of Theology and Culture program at St. Stephen’s University. I’m a member of the CSDA with Grafted Life Ministries.
I am forever grateful to my high school physics teacher Bob Kitson. He told me about Jesus.
Most of my growing and becoming has come through unlearning. I'm certain of less and sure of more.
These days, I call myself a contemplative Christ follower, someone who seeks to follow the way of Jesus and embraces practices across time and tradition.
I celebrate and bless the image of God in my LGBTQIA+ siblings. Everyone belongs.
I believe God restores body, soul, and spirit--sometimes in a moment but most often over time. This is our journey of growth and healing as we become who we already are.
I'm an INFJ and Enneagram 4. Please don't hold it against me.
Over 30 years, I've prayed with hundreds of people on their spiritual journeys. I love to create safe, sacred spaces and facilitate transformational encounters with Divine Love.
I'm founder and director of Roots&Branches Network, a spiritual direction and contemplative healing nonprofit in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I have the honor of speaking to, equipping and mentoring groups and individuals on a regular basis.
I'm wife, mom, and stepmom.
I am rescued daily by grace.

Susan (she/her) founded Roots&Branches in 2012 with a passion to create safe spaces for transformational encounters with Jesus through listening, prayer and spiritual practices. As a spiritual guide, she has facilitated meaningful encounters with Jesus for hundreds of spiritual seekers. She’s a sought-after spiritual mentor, speaker, podcaster, blogger, and pray-er. Susan has over 35 years of experience in training and curriculum development.
